The other day I overdid it... I mean, 'stupid, what on Earth was I thinking, now I can barely stand but I have to finish' kind of over did it. I wasn't moving very much, but my heart was starting to feel like it was going to pound out of my chest. It was almost like an anxiety attack, but I didn't feel anxious, just very, very tired. I went and lay down for a bit, but my heart only slowed from about 120 to 100 beats/ min, still way too much for being at rest. I asked dh to run me a bath, and I went and read in there for about an hour. I felt very rested during it, and my heart slowed considerably, but went right back up as soon as I moved and got out. So I went to bed.
I've checked my heart rate and it is usually at about 80 beats /min at rest, still high but I understand fibromites have high heart rates.
Has this ever happened to anyone else here? Do you think it was only from being tired?
On another note, I am not stressed about Christmas anymore. I got lots of baking done, and my packages just got sent out today. The kids had a snow day yesterday, so I got a head start with them wrapping up their gifts to their respective Godparents and Grandmothers, with the bonus that dh was off to help! And I got a snow day too, I was not goign to drive in that storm last night :) He also took them sliding, and I was goign to go, but he got mad at me. After how exhausted I was the night before, he asked if i ever learned my lesson? Obviously not, but I thought that he was right, so I didn't go out... right away. I snuck out after a bit to go take pics of them all. And very glad that dh had talked me out of going. The cold got to me, but I got some awesome pics to scrap :D It would have been so much worse had I tried to get bounced around down the hill with them!
Hope you are having a good day! (((gentle hugs)))
