Sleeping, or lack of it, has always been a big problem for me. I have severe insomnia, average about
3 hrs a nite, every nite. I usually go off w/i 10 min of putting out the light, but about
3 hrs later, BOOM! that's it, I'm awake for the rest of the day.
Last night, I couldn't go to sleep till almost 2 am, then I was awake by 4 am. I take 1 Tylenol PM before bed, then read for about 15 - 20 min, then turn out the light. Last nite, I did that and nothing. I have felt like the Living Dead all day. Did my household stuff, had to get some things at the store for my mother and go over to the NH. She said she hadn't slept well last nite, either. We spent a bit of the visit yawning at each other - very productive.
I have also had a major problem w/ my left leg/hip. I have been awakened by a horrible burning in my leg that makes me fly out of bed to get rid of the pain. I can't fly and it is a sorry sight. The pain lasts for the rest of the day and makes it impossible to return to sleep.
I can't deal w/ the light or noise in my room when I'm attempting to sleep. My sons used to play their video games in the evening, complete w/ surround sound. Yeah, that had to go!
Donna, let me know when and we can sit up and watch the Thin Man movies, love them! We can sit in our cushy fibro chairs and pretend to focus on the tv. Who needs sleep anyway, highly over rated, I say. Sigh - I wish I could sleep, I wish I could sleep...
Robin, let us know how the B-12 works. I take some now, if increasing the dose works, I'll try it. Good luck!
God bless. Alice.
