Update on my gallbladder surgery

Hey everyone, thanks again for all the advice about gallbladder removal! I wanted to let you know that I had the surgery yesterday and I'm doing great. I went through recovery much faster than expected and the nurses let me go home much sooner than expected. I had a lovely night in my own bed and I'm continuing to rest. When I get up to go to the bathroom or get a snack, I make a point of walking around for a minute because I've found my tummy hurts more if I don't stretch it out a bit every now and then. The Percocet helps, but the anesthesia has given me dry heaves twice today, which wasn't so fun.

I got the expected shoulder aches from the carbon dioxide gas, but it's already starting to fade. So, aside from feeling like I've been punched in the gut by a super villain, I'm doing pretty well. Thanks again for your support and advice!

Sandy you must be glad that the surgery is behind you now and you are on your way to
recovery. Each day you will feel so much better. Get some rest. Oh, and if you need to
cough hold a pillow to you, it helps. Tale Care.
