Just getting this thread started before I head off to bed.

I'm really looking forward to tonight. Troupe practice starts up again. I'm so looking forward to getting together with everybody. A few of us got together for dinner last week & that was nice. My best friend, btw, is also in the troupe with me. So, it's always fun being there with her. I know, atleast, I'll get some movement in practice.

Hey all:

Today already started off bad. -sigh- But, on the bright side, as I need to run to campus for several pressing issues (letters of rec, an email doc I forget to send, to pick up a hard copy of something), I can trot over to the gym and swim and bike and elipt (?!?)

I did my morning stretches. Saving my energy for Sherrine's virtual party tomorrow!

Will do some belly dancing with you there!!!

I just came back from my doctor. Just a check up but he told me the new recommendations for exercise is 50 minutes 5 times a week. I guess this is for a healthy heart. I thought I would pass this on. I'm going to the gym this afternoon and walking the dog later.

Fifty minutes all at one time??? There is no way!!! I vacuumed today can I count that as fifty minutes of exercise??? smilewinkgrin

 

I can't wait to get to Sherrine's tomorrow so I can walk the girls in warm weather. devil

puppylover, thanks for that. I'd heard about an hour a day myself. Some days that's just not possible, though, but it is definitely something to work towards if you are able. I can do that 2 or 3 times a week, but other days it's only about 30 minutes or so.

I slept all day today because I kept waking up every hour & was bound & determined to get some sleep. *sigh* I'm still tired. I prayed several times in the night that God would take the pain in my chest (costo) away so I could enjoy tonight & so I could sleep, etc... It just aint happenin'.

I'm gonna go eat some egg drop soup & some rice, then go to practice.

I danced at practice tonight, and then I came home & walked on the treadmill for 40 minutes & did some stretching.

I then enjoyed some beef & broccoli from the Chinese place down the street. mmmmm
