Power Outage

Boy oh boy. Here it it 1:45am and I haven't slept yet. We are in NW GA and have been hit by the ice/snow storm in this part of the world. We lost power as of around 1am. Praying it will be back on soon, but doubting it since we are in a rural area. We got off work early and I came on home and in getting turned onto our road I got in to a ditch due to the road condition. The hubs got my car out when he got home but it all put me into a slight tizzy for a bit and am feeling a flare coming on. Coupled with all of this PMS has set in too. I know, it could be alot worse. Anyway, anyone who is having inclimate weather- I feel your pain. I will lose the juice on my laptop in a bit so I'll be checking back when I can get back on. I hope all is well with my Fibro Family and everyone is feeling pain free. Thanks for listening guys!

Oh Libby - hope your flare and your power outage don't last too long. I had a tough week with snowy weather here in Michigan. It's let up a little this morning. Please hang in there. This time will pass. Wrap up in blankets and stay warm!

I remember those power outages up north. Thank goodness we had a fireplace! I live in Florida now and we usually get our power outages in the hot weather and you sweat to death! Stay bundled up. I'm sure they will get to the outage soon.

Power outages are horrible. Really makes you appreciate all the modern conviences though. Try to relax and take a hot bath by candle lite if you have a gas hotwater heater.

I drove 10 miles or so on nothing but a sheet of ice one night going home from work many years ago and it was only by the grace of God I made it home.

My son in NC called last night and they weren't getting ice but it was sleeting and he was waiting for the snow they had promised him so he could go tubing today. It was 75 there this week and suppose to get down as low as 10 this weekend. This weather is crazy.

Hope you have power back on this morning.

Power outages really make you think of what it must of been like back in the old days.

Years ago when we lived in Michigan, we had a power outage for a week, luckily

it was in the summer. Straight line winds blew down wires for miles. It was a mess.

Libby I hope your power comes on soon and that you feel better soon! Arkansas

got hit with 6'' of snow. Sure glad I'm at the virtual party at Sherrine's in Florida!
