Once in a while we all need to take a look at our signature lines and see if they are not only up to date but are following the guidelines of the forum. Every time we type even one letter of the alphabet it costs to put it here online for all to see. Even the spaces cost money!!..
I feel very fortunate that we have Healing Well here so we can all meet, share and help each other. So one thing we do need to do to make sure Healing Well survives financially is to not waste space by having overly lengthy sig lines.
If you remember, or not...lol, in the forum rules we all agreed to when we joined there is a comment about
how long we can make our signatures. Here's the actual rule:
19. No lengthy signatures. Limit signatures to 10 lines or less. Moderators will edit and/or remove signatures that are too long. I know some folks go over by a couple of words and that's not a huge deal, but some sig lines are nearing the length for publication as a book!
Seriously, please take a look at your own signature line and see if it needs some work. Trim it down where you can and still try to convey what you want. Remember blank lines still count as lines so try to keep the maximum to 10 lines of text.
Thanks!!
