Question about meds

Hi everyone,

I have a question. What is the medication that helps with anxiety/depression but also helps with fibro...Is it Cymbalta?

Yes, Cymbalta is probably the one you're thinking of. I'm currently taking it, specifically for the Fibro, but I did find that it helped "lift" my mood a bit as well. I'm on 60mg, twice a day.

Thank you. I do suffer from anxiety and depression as well and I am going to talk to my psychiatrist about switching my meds from prozac to something else.

A couple other antidepressants that help with fibro are effexor and welbutrin. I guess it has to do with the seratonin in them. I hope that you are able to take cymbalta and that it works for you.
