Let's try a different sort of word game and you might have to look up a word for this one...or maybe not. How many kinds of phobias can we list? There are some that not only sound like a funny word but the fear itself is hilarious to many of us. Like..

Dromophobia is a fear of crossing the road ~ OK?!???

Unatractiphobia is a fear of ugly people. Now there's a worthwhile fear...lol

and my all time favorite~~

Phobatrivaphobia is a fear of trivia about phobias!

So if you already know a strange one then go ahead and post it. Otherwise just go to your favorite search engine, I usually just use Google, and enter 'phobias' and see what you can find. Share several if you like...

Oh wow tiggerrluvr! That's a great one. But IMHO how can someone fear flowers?!!? I had a plant nursery for many years and I love flowers...

These are terrific! How about fear of Chins- Geniophobia. lol or fear of Chopsticks- Consecotaleophobia??? That's a riot!

Fear of making decisions.... Decidophobia .... hmm maybe I have this LOL...
Going to the doctor ..... Iatrophobia.... hmmm only because I don't want to know what they have to say next LOL
opening one's eyes..... Optophobia.... Lol because am afraid what the day will bring when i open them LOL.
Seeing oneself in mirror.... Eisoptrophobia... Lol depends on the time of day :)

Coulrophobia - fear of clowns. They had a clown at my school one afternoon and I made up some lame excuse to miss the assembly. I ended up with a half dozen kids in my room who also didn't like clowns.

If this were me I'd have problems...we live in the middle of the woods....
fear of Forests or wooden objects- Xylophobia

and this has to take some prize for weird...fear of Garlic???- Alliumphobia~ Oh unless you are a vampire I guess...lol
