chest/back pain woke me up

I usually don't have heartburn,  maybe once a year,  but this morning the pain in my chest and upper back woke me up,  not sure if it is heartburn or what,  no other symptons or pain,  it went away after about 15-20 minutes,  I know there is such a thing as the MS hug,  but I could still take deep breaths,  do people with fibro have "hugs" like this or is this something else?

Oh yeah i have that too sometimes. Very scary but i know it is just a chostochondritis. Its very easy to diagnose that, so next time you at the doc appointment just ask him/her to check you for costochondritis. If thats negative consider seeing cardio.

There will be a painfull spot(s) when pressing on the sternum area (chest bone), feels like trigger points.

well my rheumy called my primary dr and he is ordering all the tests for heart, etc... she wants it done before Friday. she also told me my numbness in my ankle when I walk is not fibro, and if it happens again she is sending me to a neuro for MS. (my daughter, my sister-in-law and my first cousin all have MS) I'm not sure what the odds are for that happening in one family when the only blood relative would be my daugher. I am still a little in shock that she mentioned MS to me, and of course a little nervous with all the tests for my heart too. to top it all off, last night while working with a dog class, a leash got tangled around my middle finger so it is purple and swollen and hurts alot. such a good day I'm having. lol
