Life is good...finally lol

Hi to my fibro family(waving Hi do ya see me now?)I havent fallen for a week,been going to bed earlier and keeping the lights on while Im online and that seems to have helped.  Saw the doc and he finally switched me to insulin.  I have been on the pills forever and they werent helping so after a few times of blood sugars over 500!! I know huh!! I got on the other.  Its been 4 days and so far not too bad.  I did have a hard time the first day and learned the hard way when I get hungry I have to eat now.  I got all faint and sick and it took about 2 hours to feel ok again.  Well I am coming up on my 50th birthday and I keep telling family its no biggee but they wont listen.  My brother who visits each week wants to throw me a party but those parties are for family AND friends and I dont have any friends.  It sounds so sad but in this lil town all I see are the ppl that work at the store and pharmacy.  Its like I dont have money so I dont fit in that group and I lost my other friends in my last divorce, and I dont fit into the bar crowd so most of my time is going to the doctors.   I will be celebrating it on the 17th though my BD is on the 9th and thats the day before my brothers BD so why cant we just do it together? they are like you only turn 50 once in your life but hey ya only turn 51 or 52 once so why should that matter.  Lol ppl are funny.  Nothing much happening here, we still havent gotten to our spring let alone our summer!! rain almost every day.  Im waiting for some sun!!  Im finally getting my dryer fixed today,its been out a month and its about killing me to take it to the building next door,not to mention how much it costs yike!! We already had the part delivered to our house so now the guy can get $200 just putting it in yay lucky me lol.  I hope everyone is having a low pain day.  Take care everyone!!!

Karen, Coming up on the big 5-0, thats a milestone, a 1/2 century. I can kid you because
I'm closer to 60 than 50. At your age you should be able to celebrate it anyway you wish :)

Getting your dryer fixed will save you alot work and money. Now you can use that extra
time on pampering yourself. Hoping you are feeling well too!

I hope you do celebrate your birthday in style...you only turn 50 once so put on your tiara and allow yourself to be treated like a Queen!!
