I found out today that another one of my relatives have cancer!!!

We just lost my uncle earlier this year to cancer, and my mom called me and she tole me that my aunt her baby sister of 9 children, my mom being the oldest had to have a Hystrictomy, (SP) and also 3 other spots. Plus they took out her limpnudes. She is doing well from what mom said. The Dr's are going to try to go back into our family history and see why so many of my family are being wiped out from Cancer.

Cancer I hate you!!!!

With all of my being

If you were a person

I'd ask you what did my family do

Why do you hate us so much

That you wait

like a theif in the night

and you pick us off

one by one.

I am so sorry you have to go thru this...and wow can I ever relate. We have lost many recently to the evil they call cancer. I hate it too...not that it does me anygood. We are waiting for results to know if my brother has the same type that took my dad. Waiting and praying that he will not have to suffer thru the brutality of it all. You and your family are in my prayers.

Im so sorry ladybug, but cancer doesnt always mean a death sentence. I will add your aunt to my prayer list. I definitely believe in the power of prayer.

I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. Keep your chin up. They are able to do miracles these days. Keep us posted.

I am so sorry about what you are going through you and your family will be in my prayers. I no all to well about cancer running in a family . I lost my great grandmother, 3 grandfathers and my dear loving mother all to cancer my mother and 2 of my grandfathers all 3 years apart it has been a rough time for me and my family also. As I said you will be in my prayers.

Thank you all. I know that there are lots that can be done now a days.


My mom has made it through breast and lung cancer, my adopted dad lung cancer, but I also know how well it can take lives, Mom lost one of her sister's back 10 years ago, another one 2 years ago and her brother this year and now this with her other baby sister. One of her other brother's died before cancer could kill him.

I am so sorry that you all have suffered also. Maybe if we pray hard enough and everyone keep buying the items with pink maybe then enough money will be saved to find a cure.

Hi Ladybug. I'm sorry you've been experiencing so much sadness within your family. It must be so difficult to keep your spirits up when all this is happening, but you sound like you have a lot of strength in you. I hope that you and your family are able to talk about your relatives who have passed without the conversations becoming too sad.

Stay strong, allow yourself to grieve and take peace in wonderful memories

Withthose that have passed yes we can talk about the good memories.

When my Aunt Pat was younger she took care of my brother and me although she wasn't much older than us. My brother and I would catch Turtles and at night Aunt Pat would let them go. A few days after she had passed a Turtle had came into our yard and layed eggs. It was my way of knowing that she was fine and looking down at me.

My uncle was my first crush. He was 8 years oldr than me. Well due to some problems between one of my aunts and my uncle's friend I have my uncle's ashes next to my bed. Him and I will have our ashes let go at the Grand Canyon when my time comes.

I know that my Aunt Jenny will be alright she has the Kelly blood running through her and lots of people looking after her. From what my mom said they got all the cancer. I can only pray that is so.

I saw this quote the other day- "I wish cancer would GET cancer & die".
Please stay positive, they can do wonderful things now. I'm 4 1/2 yrs in remission from breast cancer & my hubby is 2 yrs in remission from lung cancer. I know it's hard. I will be praying for you & your family.

I am so greatful for all of you here at Healing well. I know no matter how long I"m off here I can come back and you all make me feel better.

Whether it is with my fibro or anything else that comes and blows me a shot of pain no matter how big or little.
I love you all and thank you.
