hi my names maria, ive suffered with fibro fo about 8 yrs now, didnt no what it was, felt so ill somedays, cold just about walk, sometimes i would wake up feeling like i had just been run over by a bus or somthing, was diagnosed eventually nearly 2 years ago , still find it hard to deal with somedays espcially when i have a flare up, which is what ive been havin for the last week or so. maria

Hi Marie,

Welcome to the fibromyalgia forum. I am glad that you have joined us. I have been having a difficult time for about a week myself. No energy and extra pain. It sure isn't fun especially when you aren't getting sleep. I have arthritis too and that could be playing a part of it, but I think it is caused by our weather and the barometric pressure with fronts moving through. But I can sympathise with you, that is for sure.

If you get a chance, there is a thread called fibro101. It is the first thread on the forum. It is full of all kinds of great information and I think it would answer a lot of your questions that you may have. There are all kinds of different things to read about.

I hope that you get to feeling better soon. Do you have snow where you are? I do, and the cold is quite aggrivating at this point. It really isn't a fibromite's friend.
