help!!!!!

Can someone who suffers from restless leg syndrome please tell me what they are doing for it. I have suffered from this evil thing for many years, it just gets worse. Now it happens in the daytime and nighttime. It is horrible the only thing I can do is stand. If I try sitting or lying my legs go to town. It is also very painful. My doctor had me on carbo/levedopa every night for rls, which it worked at first and then it stopped working. Now I am on Requip 1mg at night and it helps a little but always hurting in the back and at both hips, and shoots down to my knees. What can I do? Please help, I am very tired right now.

Matee, welcome! I do not have restless leg syndrome but I've had that pain in my hips that goes down the legs. My doctor said it was bursitis so this might be what is going on with your hips. I take ibuprofen with food so it help that. You should let your doctor know about that because he might be able to help you. It is very painful and painful to lay on your hips.

Be sure to check out Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good into about fibro and you could learn a lot there. I've had fibro for 24 years and am still learning things!
