PRICEY isn't even the word for it, I feel like I am supporting the Vit. Shoppe all by myself! I am on so many different supplements. I finally found a DR that believes in complementary medicine, of regular and alternative. So I am on a couple of Rx as well as tons of supplements. I was doing smashingly great after a couple of months on everything. And then I had a huge flare up from a stressful family situation. Then the pain and fibro fog came back. But I still was pretty good with the muscle fatigue.
I am on magnisium, I don't think malic acid. But like I said I am on a ton of things. But I started a lot of them and then after a couple of weeks started the d-ribose (I was avoiding it for some reason, scared it would taste gross). so when I started that I was starting it on it's own, and within the two weeks he said it would work, I noticed it was working.
It's always worth a shot. If you can afford it. My doc wants me to be feeling good for several months and then we'll start removing one thing at a time to see how I feel. I think one of the first things he said he may remove is the d-ribose. So maybe it's not something you take forever. I'll try to remember to post again after my next appt. but I will probably forget, sorry.
Hang in there with all this craziness,
Susan
