Hey guys

What's with the sore eyes?  What's the connection with FMS and sore eyes?  My eyes have pretty much been itchy since the Rx, but suddenly they are really dry and itchy and getting worse.  What's the story?  Share, please.  Someone tell me, what's going on.

Have not talked to you for a while (cause I've been feeling well), so hope you all are hanging in there.  You gals are always there when I need you.

I was just digging terribly at my eyes the other day too. I think the change of seasons may have something to do with it, but mine are also very itchy, dry and all around sore.

Here's to hoping it will ease up when the weather settles!

My eyes have been bad for years.  Terribly dry.  I work for an optometrist and he told me to use Systane or Refresh drops.  This last year he gave me an RX for Restatis, and I can't say it helps, not much.  Dry eyes go along with auto-immune issues.

Hope your eyes feel better.  I like the Refresh gels the best.

I've never heard of sore eyes and fibro but I have noticed that when I feel a flare coming on my eyes always feel like they've gotten weaker..sometimes one or both will twitch. Since this first started several years ago and not knowing what was going on then...I have been putting the pieces of the puzzle together one at a time..

I know it is probably different for everyone but that is always a sure sign to back off and that a flare is coming...squiggly weak eyes...

I think what you are feeling is dry eyes that make your eyes feel sore.  I get that this time of year because of all the pollen and allergy-causing stuff in the air.  Maybe try some drops to help with dry eye.  Speak with your doctor first.  I'm  not a doctor but that's what I'd do if it were bothering me a lot.

I developed serious dry-eye after moving here to Virginia. My optometrist recommended Systane drops (which are brilliant), and an overnight eye gel.
