Pain- what kind?

Quick question- could you please explain to me what your pain feels like? I go to doctor on Tuesday, but this is progressively getting worse. I stayed at work for 20 min longer and when I got in my car I felt like I had a horrible burning all over, all the way up to my head. I had to lie in my car. Now I have never experienced this before.
I deal with back pain daily and I describe that as a toothache, the leg pain for me is truly electrical (nerve damage/cord). But this was almost like lava.

Could someone describe "fibro" pain? What does it feel like?

My MRI's are clear of issues.

I know everyone on here is going to have a different answer for you so I will tell you only what I experience.

Most days I just have a mild, all over burning ache. Its kinda on the back burner at a slow simmer. Some days one particular area will hurt much more than that mild ache. It will feel as though I sprained it or sometimes even feel as though the muscle is being slowly ripped apart, depending on where the pain is.

Have you ever reached for something that was too far away and you stretched to get it and felt a muscle rip/pull/burn....that is the kind of pain I get across the top of my back, shoulders, neck and sometimes lower back/hips area.
Have you ever stepped down the wrong way and sprained your ankle? That is the kind of pain I get in my knees, elbows, wrists, and hands.

It is really weird the way fibro and all its symptoms affect us so differently.

Yeah, you will get a wide variety of answers to your question. I am learning that fibro tends to manifest in so many different ways. For me, I don't get the muscle pain associated with fibro. I tend to feel it mostly in my joints. But on occasion, I will get where my skin feels like it's sunburnt, especially right above my knees. Once in a while, I will get what feels like someone sticking a needle in a muscle. But it's quick and sharp.
