Any success with lyrica

I am on my 4th week taking lyrica. I have noticed some slight improvement this past week. I certainly am sleeping better at night and the pain is a tad better during the day.

I am just wondering if anyone has had success taking Lyrica, at what point you noticed some positive improvements and how long you stayed on this medication.

I know everyone is different and what works for one may not work for another. However, any input you have would be greatly apprecited.

Until last night I could have said the side effects have been minimal, nothing I couldnt get used to. But now....I have "cankles"....you know, ankles that are as big as your calves?!! There is so much fluid in my ankles and my fingers. I am taking a low dose of a fluid pill but that isn't touching the swelling.

I go back to the Rhuem. on Thursday. May have to talk about alternate solutions!

Thanks Debbie for responding to my post. At this point I am feeling pretty low and need some encouragement. I mean who would think that someone could have pain ALL THE TIME! Ugh....

Tomorrow is another day!
