The med thay gave you to speed up your heart is something you don't tolerate, I'll bet. I know I can't take Dobutamine, which is the med they usually give. It's full of sulfite (sodium metabisulfite) and I'm intolerant to sulfites.
I would definitely keep that med on a list that you carry with you and refuse to ever have it again. I carry around an entire page of my med sensitivities, and it's been handy more than once!
I don't tolerate lots of the meds for scans, mainly because they have added junk that isn't needed. The new, good-tasting barium now has flavoring agents and saccharine.
