Hi Pumpkin Girl!
Nice to meet you and welcome to the Fibro Forum Family. On finding a good doctor there will likely be lots of different suggestions so I'll start with a couple. One, if you know anyone in the surrounding area who is well treated for fibro by their doctor then ask them for the name.
But if I were in your situation I would get in touch with the nearest university/teaching hospital to you. There's a link to a list of them around the globe in the Fibromyalgia 101 thread at the top of the Topics list. Here's the link so you don't have to go hunting for it.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_university_hospitals I found one in Oklahoma City which should work out well. And the other one in your state is in Tulsa. You hit the jackpot.
OK City.

www.osumc.net/So why go to these types of places? This is where cutting edge technology is blossoming. Your medical team has the newest and best treatment plans for your condition. And you won't get passed off because the doctors 'don't know what else to do for you". Just get a phone number from their website and give them a call. Explain that you are looking for a doctor who can treat your condition and they'll take it from there. You might just get into a research study if you qualify.
Hope something here is helpful,
Chutz
