ivf cycle led to fibro flare

I'm wondering if anyone else here has gone through an ivf cycle? What was your experience like? Did the ivf cycle lead to decreased health?

I rarely have fibromyalgia pain anymore (last time was December 2010), but the stress of an ivf cycle led to a fibro flare. I think it's likely that the drugs that did it. The flare was the longest that I've had for 10+ years.

Since our first ivf cycle failed, we're likely going to try again. I'm wondering what to expect, and how to prepare for it.

She's undergoing invitrofertilization which brings with it a roller coaster of hormonal swings and I can easily see how it would bring on a flare with the added stress.

Try to consider some extra things to pamper yourself -- such as massage or accupuncture -- which might also be helpful with your IVF cycle.

I know how financially and emotionally draining this can be (as my daughter went through it before). You have my very best wishes and I will be praying it is successful this time around!
