Angel, if you have been bleeding a lot, you could have anemia and that causes shortness of breath along with more fatigue and tiredness. Weight gain can cause shortness of breath, too. Try counting carbs. You will never be hungry and the weight does come off easily...even when you are older. I lost 20 pounds since July and I'm 64.
The coumadin I assume is for the blood clot problem. Do keep moving, Angel! If you are sedentary, that will make things worse. The gentle stretching exercises in Fibro 101 were devised to help with long flights. People would get deep vein thrombosis from sitting for the long periods of time.
I know you live in Alaska but you can still do walking in place by using videos. I have a good one by Leslie Sansone. If I do it for 15 minutes, it's like I walked one mile! There's some light aerobics in it, too. You could do it at your own pace but you need to keep moving...especially if you have blood clot problems.
If you want help with the counting carbs, just email me. Click on the little envelope under my name at the left of this post and it sets you up to email me. You CAN get back in shape and feel better.
Let us know what the doctor says. We do care about you.
