I have a pinched nerve pain in the back of my right hip. My husband says, "What do you think you did that hurt it?" And I realized & said, "You know, I don't know & I don't try to bother with trying to figure it out anymore. It's just another of my weird things." I guess it is probably from doing that painting today but oh well. Anyone else feel the same way? I just don't want to expend any energy getting frustrated & wondering why. Seems like a waste of time.

And just like that, the pain has gone & moved to other body parts. Goofy.

I know what you mean with fibro so many weird unexplainable aches and pains. I have had that pinched nerve feeling in my hip before. With me sometimes it will be gone in a matter of minutes and others it can last days. I also feel it is a waste of time...no point and getting to excited.

I'm having that right now.  I overdid for Thanksgiving and got so I could hardly walk.  The pain is really sharp...like those "electrical" pains we've talked about.  My doctor thinks it is spinal stenosis but I don't because is moves.  It will be in one hip for days and then switch. 

 

I've been taking a half a Vicodin to help me walk, along with using my cane and taking things easier.  I'm getting better doing this and yesterday I didn't need the cane anymore.  So, take it easy and, if you can take ibuprofen with food, that will help.  That's what I used to do.  I can't take NSAID's now so I use the Vicodin with this type of pain.

I no longer worry about that either...just like I don't wonder when I feel good, I just enjoy the good days and get thru the bad

Take care and Sherrine, I get that too, mine is sacroiliac joint dysfunction (basically sciatica) which does respond to injections. Yeah, hard to get away from that pain.
