Does anyone experience low pain back during their period? I have always had cramps in the front but this month it is all in the lower back where the tender points are.
Thanks,
Christie

Christie,
Yes!! And all over!! I have extremely painful periods, and even my groin and legs hurt during it. My Gyn just recently put me on a low dose bc pill as well as Mobic to take during it. Seems to be giving me some relief. Maybe you could ask your Dr about
it? I think it's typically used for RA, but I guess they found that it helps for pain during cycle too.
Hope you feel better! Just getting over that myself and have been miserable!

I have had a lot of luck using the Nuvaring. It has practically eliminated cramps and made my period a lot lighter.

I am at that stage too Amy,
And glad for it. My menopause has been easy (knock wood). I am thankful for that. I found that birth control helped me until I got my tube ligation. Then my periods were never really normal. Had them every three months and then they started getting farther apart. I am just glad, and hope, that it is over.
The fibromyalgia didn't really effect my cycle or how I felt. I guess I was lucky.
Hugs, Karen

Not back pain, but since fibro I do know pretty much the exact second my cycle starts, I get immediate cramping. One good thing to thank fibro I suppose. I can't wait to get to menopause and get rid of these useless periods!
