Eight days till Christmas...

We are only eight days from Christmas.  I wanted to wish everybody a joyous holiday season.  I hope that you all have a happy and safe Christmas and New Years.  I can't believe the time is going by so fast.  It seems like it was just autumn.  Only two more months until we raid Sherrine's house again with our virtual party.  I can hardly wait.  I think it is in February. 

I spent Thursday evening with my grandkids and we did the Christmas thing as they are going on vacation soon.  It was very pleasant.  So the actual Christmas day will be peasceful and quiet. With a nice turkey dinner.  I hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!!!

You too, Karen!  You are right...time is flying by!  I hope everyone is just about done with all the big work of Christmas and can sit back, relax, and enjoy the remainder of the season.  I still have to make my butter pecan fudge but that's easy. 

 

Yes, my virtual party is in February and I'll announce it when I decide what weekend to have it.  We have a lot of newbies here so we can break them in, Karen.  smilewinkgrin    I'm still scraping food off my eaves from our last party.  nono

OMG KAREN!!!! Did ya have to remind me...no cards yet, not finished shopping or decorating or baking or caroling or five golden rings and a partridge in a pear tree-whew!!!!!

Seriously, I have gotten so serene this year because the only thing that matters is I am surrounded by my loved ones and we are all God's beloved children.

So piles of mail and miscellaneous clutter are welcome to come celebrate too-they don't bother me at all!!! I hope they like eggnog-lol.....noooo, I haven't been drinking, but I'm thinking about it-lol

Love you ladies and I wish you peace, joy and bounty for your Christmas

Karen, I agree that the time is flying by...Christmas will have come and gone before we know it.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate all you and Sherrine do for us.
Thank You to both of you and to all the fibromites who share and care and support one another...you are all wonderful!

Hope we all enjoy the days ahead :)

Can't wait for the Fevruary virtual party!!!

Time has been flying by for sure! Every year it goes faster and faster. Thank you so much Karen, same to you. I wish you and everyone here a happy holiday season. I hope you can all share some ownderful memories with those you love.

Merry Christmas and wishing you and everyone here on HW the Best in the New Year. I still have not really started shopping yet or baking or cleaning but no matter what happens we will have family here so will be surrounded by love. Hope you are too!!!

I saw a lady in the store with many bags of cranberries. She told me she freezes them, and then uses them in many dishes. She actually puts them in meat loaf and meat balls. I was surprised. I wonder how that tastes? I have a recipe for cranberry pie that I thought I would share.

2 C Fresh Cranberries.
1/3 C Sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
melted butter , 1 stick
1C flour

Preheat over 350 degrees. Put berries in a pie pan (10 inch) that has been sprayed with cooking oil. Sprinkle with the t1/3 cup of sugar over berries. Mix eggs, 1 Cup of sugar, vanilla, butter and flour and pour over cranberries. Bake 45 min to 1 hour. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream....

Maggie...LOL  I hope it doesn't have anything shiny on it because one of the boys doesn't like shiny things.  I'm thinking it is Horsebreath.  Donna remembers.  I'm too busy cleaning up after everyone.  LOL
