Hi Nana, it is good to see you :) I'm sorry that you are suffering.
Nana, no one really knows what causes fibro. Winter months do seem to be tougher on fibromites, causing us more pain...the cold and lack of sunshine , play into it somehow. I know our serotonin level is affected by the lack of sunlight and that can cause depression in some people. Cold makes our muscles tense up and we feel it...so we need to do gentle stretching throughout the day and get some form of exercise in. Walking will help you with the stress you are feeling.
Your dermatologust said you do not have lupus...that is great, so please try not to worry. Stress can bring on hive like rashes. Do what you can to bring your pain level down and more than likely your anxiety will lessen and vice versa. Take some time to soak in a warm bath and listen to some relaxing music.
There is an old saying..."Don't borrow trouble"....fibro mimics some illnesses but you are not diagnosed with any of those.
Let your doc know that you are feeling down and anxious...I'm hoping you will get some relief. Keep posting...you know we care :)
Hugs, Robin
