Eyesight going

I don't think it's fibro and probably not age, either, since you are losing vision quickly.  You need to see an opthamologist and see what really is going on with your eyes.  My insurance doesn't cover going to the local eyeglass place for a check-up but it does cover an opthamologist.  Even if it didn't, what price do you put on your vision?    Please let us know what you find out.  Your vision is too important to be guessing about.

Make sure your Eye Dr. Checks your moisture in your eyes. I was having trouble with blurred vision. It was caused by severe dry eyes. He put this special paper thing on my eyes, it detected no moisture ar all. There are so many things you can do that doesn't cost too much. I use the thick oil drops. It really made a huge difference. Also check your medications, I had a drug that caused blurred vision. Sherri is right, we need the annual eye exam. Glaucoma sneeks up on people and before you no it, your vision is damage.

Im so glad to hear this!  Hopefully it will be covered by your insurance too.  That would be a plus.  I know it's scary but it is good to get it checked out and give you some peace of mind, too.  here could be a simple explanation that we don't know about either.  Again, please let us know what you find out because we really do care about  you.

I started having problems with my sight as well. I started noticing that things were getting blurry, maybe right around my birthday last year (Sept) and Im convinced the eye doctor messed up. My contacts were -8.50 in the left and -7.50 in the right. She changed my Rx to -8.0 in the left. This bothers me because I have never known of someone's eyes magically getting better, especially since I experienced rapid degeneration when I was in HS. My eyes got bad pretty much overnight. Did anyone else have a rapid decrease in vision?
