Could A Fall Trigger A Fibro Attack?

I fell down the stairs this morning, I wasn't hurt seriously just a few large bruises. It was more of a "I'd win a lot of money if someone caught that on tape" fall than a really serious one. blush I'm new to the fibro diagnosis though and now i'm a little scared that this might cause a fibro attack? Anyone ever get bad fibro act up from a bad fall or something similiar?

Oh yes, you can trigger an attack. I know I have fallen before and the fibro kicks in. Doesn't take much to trigger one. I know I feel like my whole body is under attack. I would try not to worry about it because it can cause one from that. Try to refocus your mind on something pleasant.

For sure the fall I had when I broke my thumb triggered not only a fibro attack also my chronic fatigue is up and running as well.

It can but so can worrying about getting an attack too. I hope you feel better

Thanks everyone. I've been really tired ever since,but am just a little sore from the fall. I'll try not to think about it and hope for the best.

Don't worry about the future because we never know!  I've had a couple of really bad falls in the past 5 years and didn't go in a flare.  I was just naturally sore from the fall.  This is probably what will happen with you...and anyone else that had that type of fall for that matter.  Keep the positive thoughts!
