fibro + MONO

          Hi everyone...new here and just reading alot of the good information.  I have been diagnosed with fibro for over 15 years now.  I have had flare ups in the past that required more medication then regular daily dosages which i like to call the regular periods my remission (lol) .  First off I'm a nurse and work nights which doesnt help my situation.  Then last year I got mono the dr feels from a patient.  I was so weak and had alot of trouble with pain and was off work for 5 months.  It has been over a year now and the pain is just so severe I take fentanyl duragesic patches, percocet, lyrica, flexeril.  I have been having severe pain in my joints and of course was tested for everything under the sun again. Everything was negative of course but here i sit with pain that is unbeleivable, yesterday I had my hips injected with cortisone and lidocaine because of the pain.  Just really overwhelmed and praying that life gets easier.  This FMS is really draining I have never been so miserable as this last year.  Wondering has anyone else experienced mono with fibro and what were there outcomes?  Thanks for listening!!

I received injections in my neck and shoulders about 14 years ago and it would feel better for about a month then i would get injected again had to do that for about 6 months and it finally one day just felt better...so I am praying this pain Ive been having for this past year will eventually one day feel better too. the everyday aches and pain are miserable enough but when its intensified like it has been this past year. But I am very thankful for having great DR's it was never an issue in finding out what I had they tested me right away and diagnosed with the pressure points that was about 15 years ago...so Im grateful for that. I see the list of things you have going on and I dont have as much but herniated disc c2-c4, arthritic changes with bone spurs and some compression, migraines tmj, high bp lol and the dr said do u think u are depressed..........haha well on a regular NO but this year my plate is on total overload with this pain out of control so UMMMM YESSSSSSSSSSSS i could say that haha as I start crying out of frustration...so it was a good laugh.
