Fibro is not a degenerative disease...it does not destroy joints, muscle or tissue...it just feels that way. Fibro may be more difficult as we age because many develop wear and tear issues on their body and develop osteoarthritis, bursitis, sciatica or a number of things.
If you have fibro and are not active, your muscles become stiff and will atrophy from lack of exercise and you will lose mobility...that is why exercise is so impoetant to us.
