Right now I'm having a lovely flare combo...fibro and the MCTD, but have found a fun and frustrating way to keep my mind off the pain.

If you google mind games there are many differant sites with a large assortment of games....you can become lost in these and they really help distract the pain because of the focus required...having some fog now, so it makes these games a little challenging but fun. turn

It is worth giving it a try yeah ...I definately stay away from the IQ tests

I like playing bejeweled and bookworm. Bookworm is my favorite. I also play a little slots and poker on facebook. The computer keeps me quite entertained and that does take my mind off of the pain.

On the depression forum we play a few word games which is fun. Makes the forum fun.

Karen, I tried to play your bookworm game...wow my mind was way too foggy...those tiles were burning up quick turn   I didn't do much better on the bejeweled game either. I will have to try them again when the fog clears up.

Nana, I used to be able to recall names of Hoolywood stars or singers, and now I'm forever googling something. In my neighborhood, they call me google. smilewinkgrin

It is fun to play these games...I feel like a kid yeah

The I pad has made a big difference in my life.. I like to play games and do word search on them. I stil have trouble with reading long chapters and remembering them. You are so right that it takes the pain away because you are distracted. I love to watch netflex documentaries on the pad.

My favorite is Spider Solitaire on the computer. Just the right amount of concentration needed.
