Pain medication/ Vitamin recommendations???

Hi! Just wondering if there is any pain medication that really has helped with fibro aches and pains? I've am taking Vitamin D3, D-Ribose, and Magnesium. I am not too crazy about taking any medications, but the pain is so unbearable at times. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it. But just wondering is there anything that any of you have found to provide relief with little side effects. Or have any of you found relief from pain by taking a certain vitamin???? I was doing some research in FMS and came a cross a site run by a woman with CMS. She has used different products but one in particular for eight years that has given relief from pain, can sleep at night and also stated other benefits. She had results in two weeks. I've also used the same product for years for other painful disorders and yes it works. No there are no side effects and it doe not interfere with any medications. I used pain killers for over a year but really needed a solution and wanted to end drug dependency.
She also spoke about using oxygen drops added to a liquid to drink and said they helped. tests showed her oxygen level was good but they found after something as simple as climbing stairs that her levels had sharp declines.

malic acid/magnesium, and an anti-inflammatory diet help the most. But I do have hydrocodone for those nights.....but had to try several different ones to get the right one for me. I like massages too, but you have to get the right therapist or you could end up in alot more pain.

Most meds don't "work" for me..... which I attribute to my mom being addicted to pain meds while pregnant with me. I am just thankful I don't have the "addicted nature" that she had for them. I am very very careful and take only when really needed.
