need some help! Fentanyl patch?

…a quick plea for some help here! My sister has a close friend who has terminal cancer and is on the Fentanyl patch…and is looking for the product that helps keep it on.

I have read it mentioned here several times…but cannot recall the product. I posted this on the CP forum as well…but I know many of you ladies also us the Fentanyl patch here as well.

If she is on patch made  by mylan (sp?) all you have to do is call the number on the box and they send you free covers.

Also the pharmacy should be able to help you. I had one kind that wouldn't stick (had used duct tape once, packaging tape, not comfortable)
I have been on three different kinds - the kind with gel inside didn't stick, the ones that looked like a bandaid, and also the clear flat (nothing inside) sticks better. Mine is generic brand so I have to change every 48 hrs. It's pretty common for them not to work the whole 72. Maybe by day 3, they are losing their stick.
Also depending on where I put them makes a difference. I wear on my sides by where my bra would be (or right below)

I used to use waterproof tape...it is used for bandages (the gauze kind). Sorry I have a little brain fog today. Just put it around the outside edges and it should work. Never had a problem with it coming off after using the tape. Hope this helps.
