Spicy - I have been doing tons of research on the ADA, but it seems like what it boils down to is: does your condition really consitute a "disability?" I spoke with a nurse about my problems at work and she told me to ask for FMLA papers and I told her they already said I wouldn't qualify (which was shocking to her) so she suggested I speak to a lawyer or try to find a new job. I was kind of hoping she could get me a doctor's slip even just explaining my conditions, so I would have something official to prove to my job that I'm not making this stuff up. I have a doctor's appointment soon so hopefully something will come of it..
Thanks for your advice..and yeah, the way they've handled many things is "off", that's why I am trying to figure out the best approach and know what my rights are
