Losing weight seems like a losing battle for me...I look like a 60 year old who is 5 months pregnant.
Just a couple years ago I was 5'6 and weighed 125...now I'm 5'4 1/2 and weigh 150. I'm shrinking and getting rounder, once looked like a cellery stalk and now look like a potato.
....and no I'm not eating more Milky Ways than before.
My metabolism took a nose dive and I'm still blaming the prednisone
for the belly fat even though I haven't been on that for awhile.
I try to watch my diet by eating lean protein and eat plenty of green veggies, drink lots of water and exercise. There are the times though that I use food as a pain med. My walking distance has shortened due to a combo of health stuff so I guess I have to cut back on calories.
All my clothes are looking ridiculous and I refuse to buy bigger ones.
I've been buying tops that are smocked to try to disguise my belly, yeh like that's really working.
Tried a dress on today while shopping and got stuck in it, almost had to yell out for help. I skipped my Milky Way tonight.
I know there are lot of us in the same boat...just one more frustration to deal with. Haven't even thought of trying on my swimming suit maybe that would motivate me.
All those trying to lose a few pounds...if you have extra willpower to spare send it my way...please
Hugs, Robin
