Supreme Court Upholds Affordable Health Care Act

Yea!!!!!!!!  This just made my day!!!!!!!!!! No more cherry picking the healthiest people for improving the bottom line.  No more denying of service.  No more cancelling insurance because you got sick.

My dermatologist and opthomologist both have signs in there offices that read:  In anticipation of the implementaion of the Affordable Heath Care Act we are no longer accepting Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance.  Cash, check or credit card only.  My gyno moved his office into his house last week as he said he would not be able to pay rent on the building and the ten people it will take to sift through ObamaCare paperwork.  So yes we will have affordable health care but just try to get an appointment in a timely manner....or a doctor that will take any insurance at all.  I just had to pay $88 in cash for an office visit and I have excellent insurance.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Donna.  This is the beginning of socialized medicine and the picture will not be pretty.

People on medicare, like me, will have a hard time finding and/or keeping a dr.  Basically, most of us will end up seeing a nurse practicioner and rarely see the dr.The waits to see anyone at all will get longer and longer. And they will find reasons to deny you newer procedures, especially if you are older.

I agree that people shouldn't be kicked off their insurance because they are too sick.  However, that could have been taken care of with an individual law.  The future does not look bright--Take a look at Britain and Canada.
