Hey all,
I am struggling right now with my fibro pain.. I was officially diagnosed in December 2011 with fibro and then it was very mild compared to the state I am in now. It all started in my left hip then moved throughout my ENTIRE body. My fingers hurt and I am so bad during flare ups that my PT doesnt like to talk about it. She has been a PT for 30 years and I am the worse case she has seen, and just to remind you I'm only 19. I am now facing the worst flare ups of my life, for longer (about a month and a half each) and more often (from 5-14 days between).
To add to it I also discovered this new lovely addition to my pain. I have always had painful intercourse due to all my illnesses so that is nothing new. But, now when I am sexually "in-the-mood" and my boyfriend touches my side, as little as a slight graze of the skin, causes an excrutiating pain washed over my body. my hand immediately grabs his and then I am paralyzed by the pain. Now I can still move(I think) but the pain is so bad that my body is afraid to move and I just lay there. It seems to be only on my left side above my hip. And only when I am aroused. It is happening more often now and makes it extremly difficult to be close to him. It also ruins the mood when he inflicts such pain on me by simply brushing my skin lightly.
Has anyone else had this problem? or anything close to it?
Thank you,
Destituteyouth
p.s. I will most likely be going to Cleveland clinic in order to get everything under control so hopefully they can shed some light for me.
