This is great news! I'm glad you have a doctor that is listening to you now. That's half the battle.
There are some good supplements that help many with fibro. I know I mentioned them to you before so you might ask about that, too. They have helped me with pain and fatigue.
Another thing is gentle exercises. I'm happy you are going to aerobic swimming classes now. Other good gentle exercises for fibro are walking and yoga. Gentle exercise really helps a lot with the pain and fatigue.
Finally, keeping that positive attitude alive that you latched on to yesterday! It honestly helps with the pain, too. Don't look at the negative things in your life. Look at the positive things, and I'm sure you have a lot of that!
