Yesterday I noticied I had taken my last Cymbalta pill and there were no refills. So as soon as the doctors office
opened up I called and spoke to the nurse to request a refill. I spoke to her directly and she ashured me she would call it in. My husband stopped by the pharmacy to pick up my script
s. I worked late and upon arriving home at 9pm, the pharmacy closed at 8 and the doctors office closes at 5, No Cymbalta
! To say the least I was upset and scared of what the possible withdrawls would be not having it until Monday or Tuesday. I went to sleep after taking my knock out pills as I call them. When I got up this morning, in pain as usual, I called the pharmacy. The Pharmacist was the same one that worked last night. She said the doctors office never sent anything she even doublechecked. She then made my day by offering to give me 3 pills until we could speak to the doctors office on Monday. I was in shock but very happy
! I have never heard of a Pharmacist doing something like this without the doctors script
. I'm sure it had something to do with the fact that she knows my history and that I have been taking it for like 6 months now. We have also had this problem before where I had to call the on call doctor due to the office staff or nurse not sending over the script
.
All I can say is she made my day and weekend. Thank God for decent people with common sense!
