I hear you!
I try to break my work down into small, short periods, and rest a bit inbetween. It helps me to alternate sitting and standing (I tend to accomplish more while sitting!).
Right now I have bags of clothes that I need to plow through in my bedroom (dragging out the cold weather clothing, bedding, etc.). I try to do a couple of bags a day, at least. But I don't think we can beat ourselves up over getting things done--or not getting it done. We just have to do the best we can.
Also, I find that if I have a place for everything, and put everything in its place, it helps a lot. And I try to wipe up spills, knock down a cobweb, or clean up a splatter as they happen. It's easier, I think, to clean as you go, rather than waiting til a giant project awaits you!
Just a suggestion, but if you belong to a church, would someone from there be able to help you with projects? Also, sometimes there are people sometimes called 'chore people' through your county who may be able to help you with cleaning, etc., and the county, I believe, picks up the tab. If you really need help, don't be ashamed to ask for it.
I hope things turn out well, SoSt9. Best wishes.
