UGh... cold and just achy

Thanks Karen. Yep. I have one. I make them, actually. I make them in larger sizes for people. Mine actually needs taken apart and washed. I looked at it today and it looks really nasty. I am not surprised. I practically live with the thing. :)

I am about ready to go to sleep, but my cold got better, but the rest of me did not. I ended up really getting sick with lord knows what this morning, and I am now in the hospital. I will probably put something up about it tomorrow. I am currently on some typr of med I have not heard of, but makes me feel better (Delotid?) I am so very tired.

I was just looking at the back of my throat (it hurts like mad) and I am thinking that I may have strep. It would explain everything that is going on with me right now (the reason I am in the hospital at least. I have an elevated white count (they said "17" but I don't know what units that is in), non stop diarrhea, nausea, almost vomiting, blacking out, incontinence (both ways - well, I don't know if strep would explain that), severe jaw pain and bad migraines - on the left side, which is not the same side they normally happen).

I am awake right now because they needed to take vitals (and I hurt), but I will probably be going back to sleep in about 10 minutes. They gave me more pain meds and this one is good with knocking me out.

Oh, I also have this thing (nodule is what is coming to my mind, but I don't know if that is the right word). It looks like mucus, but it won't go away and has been there for 24 hours. I asked the nurse about it and she said that she saw it, so I am asking her to explain it to the dr for me. I told the ER doc and he didn't see it, but I don't think I explained it well.

When I get those days where I'm very cold, sometimes a soak in the bathtub helps to warm me up.

SoSt9, I hope the hospital is able to help you, even if its just resting. When I get chilled its so hard to warm up again.
