Hi Lindsay,
( My personal experience:) I have been diagnosed with FM and (as of this point in my life) the body aches and pains I've had have been mostly minor, and thankfully I'm not normally in significant pain (muscle wise). However, I do feel very uncomfortable sometimes, due to seasons of trouble sleeping, vertigo-type-issues, exhaustion (and sometimes headaches). And in general diet selection is very problematic and causes 'flares' of my symptoms to appear.
I'm not sure what 'turned on' fibromyalgia for me, but I have an (unconfirmed) suspicion that it was due to illness, specifically a nasty case of food poisoning that left me nauseous and sick for a month. I can't say for sure though, so who knows.
As far as symptoms, I also have dealt with most of what you listed, except in my case, the vomiting stopped not long after a few weeks. The nausea went on though, just not to the point of getting sick to my stomach. I do also have significant eye changes, and floaters and these issues started not long after my other FM issues started. And: fatigue, weakness, very sore ribs and back, dizziness, no appetite.. yes to all of those at some point or another.
I seem to only have the classic fribromyalgia burning aches and pains all over my body when I eat something really bad or take some kind of medicine. I took a cold eeze lozenge a year ago and my body was burning all over after and I had a lot of muscles twitches. It felt like someone poured acid all over my nerves... It really terrified me because I was scared it might be permanent. Luckily it went away after a week or so. And normally I'm not in so that much pain.
It seems that FM is not always the same for each person. Each case is different. Others here may have more useful advice for you. But my only advice (regardless of whether or not you are dealing with FM specifically) is to learn the best ways to care for yourself. Learn what to avoid and really take care of your body and learn to rest. I've had periods of feeling 'normal' in the last year and its mostly because I found good balance, stayed away from flare-triggers, slept as well as possible, ate well, and exercised lightly, (and also pursued my dreams within reason without pushing myself too far or too hard).
The last few months have been hard on me because I've changed my work schedule and also pushed myself too far over the summer. :/ So I've had a resurgence in some of my symptoms.
