I have been in the worse pain since the cooler weather. Finally broke down and was prescribed tramadol. As it dont take all my pain away. But it works enough to take the edge off so I can function.

Yep, It's considered very mild. It does the same for me.

It is very helpful, I think, for daily pain.
It makes me have more energy, so I do avoid it at night.

Tramadol didn't help me with my pain but it has helped many on this forum. I hope it works quite well for you! Let us know! Any good news is more than welcomed here.

kSD9807- I dont think I have met you before. Welcome! Tramadol is very popular with the Dr's. It's less addictive then some of the heavy narcotics. It's actually a pretty good drug. I did have a seizure on it years ago when I took too much of it. It was at my fault. Learned a hard lesson.
I hope you find this site helpful. It has given me my life back. I now have good control of my fibro. I learned how to manage it through this site.
