My Mom used to say not to invite trouble! I don't worry about things that most likely will not happen. All that does is cause more stress which causes more fibro pain, which causes more anxiety, which causes more depression which causes more stress...on and on and on. I know because I've been there and done that. That's when I realized I was living in fear and I put a stop to that.
If you are concerned about something like that, do deep breathing exercises and keep those muscles strong and expanded. Fibro people tend to breath shallowly. I know I try to remember to expand my lungs as far as they will go several times a day....several repititions each time. I have ankylosing spondylitis and it CAN make it so it's difficult to breath because of spine problems so I do this to help prevent this from happening to me. Regardless, I will not worry about the future because no one knows what the future holds anyway. Just take one day at a time and live it to the fullest.
