tiredness and fibro fog

I'm just wondering if others brain fog is worse when they are tired?

When I get up in the morning I'm fine, but by the end of the day it takes a lot of concentration to have a conversation with my husband. All I want to do is watch TV or read a book, something that I don't have to interact in.

Does anyone take medication to help with this? or supplements? and do they help?    

Yes. My brain pretty much shuts down when I'm tired.

Yesterday I started a bad flare, and the fatigue grew throughout the day. I tried and tried to accomplish something and it was a real struggle. I finally cleaned out a cupboard that needed to have old cottage cheese and yogurt containers thrown away. Since I couldn't concentrate on anything, I felt good that at least I accomplished that little job!

I'm also dealing with a fibro-related headache this week that now is more 'in the background,' but still with me. I think that contributes to the fog, too.

I don't take any meds or supplements for the fog, but it may be worth looking into! Good idea--glad you brought that up.

There are many posts which mention fibro fog; some of which offer suggestions. Obviously, it's best to check with your doc before starting any herb or medication.

Interesting posts. We are definitely not alone re having "the fog."

Edited to add:  Rats!  I can't get the link to go to the right page. Sorry.    Initially, I had searched for 'herbs for fibro fog,' and this was one of the articles that came up.  Others here may wish to do the same search--many sites show up.
