Supplements--Friend or Foe?

I want to put myself on a supplement regimen (regular medications all give me side effects). I want to follow Dr. Edelbergs (Healing Fibro) plan and my doctor has cleared me. I looked up Brain Energy by Douglas Labs which contain Phenylalanine and AdrenPlus which contains Ginseng. I looked up these substances and now am hesitant to try them. Has anyone tried these supplements before? I am thinking of trying Fibroplex Plus (powder) because this contains no scary ingredients.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am a new member and so I am new to things here. Not new to fibro tho!
I don't actually know anything about the above products, but I do believe very strongly in good supplements, in sickness and in health!
I totally wish to hold my hand up that I have a wellness business advising people on supplementation, diet etc and would gladly chat further if you wish?

I do fish oil, folic acid, B12, biotin, and cranberry fruit.
Others here love magnesium and malic acid.
