Hi Joy! How are you? I've been around, seen your posts in the asthma. I have the same prob, but reverse... dont hear at home but doctor hears the wheezing lol. I've been good. More than good LOL. gkuhs has been kicked to bed, he isnt feeling too hot today. He pampered me when I went in a flare last week with the fibro. He is so sweet, you'd love him. He even cooks and cleans (and yes the toilet seat goes down too LOL). He made sure I rested, even did meals in bed, and watched over me closely. He has MS though, so I keep an eye on him too. Hence why I kicked him into bed and told him he needs to rest til 11am (its 10:15am now). You should email me sometime and we need to stay in touch email addy is all one word) LoL I hear snoring now... dont we just love men hehe

Smurfy, we don't put personal info like email addresses in our posts.  It's to protect you.  You can put your email address in your profile and only the members of HealingWell will see it.

Sorry, Smurfy. I don't like to post my email in forums. I did that a few years ago when I started here and I had some problems due to it.
I know you wouldn't do it but I still like to be cautious.

I'm glad that you have found someone great who cares for you so much.

Sorry Sherrine, I've seen many many users post their email like that hence why I thought it was ok.

Joy, I don't blame you. GKuhs has to go to work, so when I get my laptop up and running (on his lol) I will post more. I need to find the pw for the isp though lol

Smurfy, anyone can read the forums...even if they are not members...  anyone in the world with a computer.  If you put personal info in your post, they can get it.  That's why I don't let people put email addresses in their posts plus the forum rules say not to put personal information in your posts and your email address is personal.  So, it's best to put it in your profile and then only HealingWell members can get it.

 

For me, I didn't want to put my personal email in my profile but needed an address for members to reach me so I created another email address through HealingWell email.  It's easy.  Then email from this site you get from the HealingWell email.  It doesn't go where your normal email goes on  your computer.  You have to open the HW email and then you can see if you want to open it or not.  Yep, you still can get "junk mail".  LOL

That's a great point Sherrine! I have done the same with having an email dedicated to HW only. Even with doing this, I've been getting some spam here and there but I know all the Mods and Peter look out for this as best you can.

It's the same thing with having our username/password for HW different from anything else we do online like banking or shopping, etc.

Now that my computer has the isp pw I can actually talk. Sorry for the rush post, like I said gkuhs had to go to work (I miss him already) and had to take his laptop. However, I wish junk mail would cease to exist LOL
I never give out my private email, even to family and close friends, they have a separate email addy for them LOL I only have well lets see (counts) 12 email addys... one for work msn, one private msn one for church one for my military buddies one for family one for friends one for work one for second job one for hw there's 9 the rest are for games i play, fb, so on LOL. And I'd love to see someone try to get into my computer if they can get in speaking 3 languages, caps, lower case and numbers then they have to be really good - better then technical writers LOL. All pws contain 3 languages, caps, lower case, symbols and numbers. We're a computer geek family and we run trials on all our computers on security... no one got into mine in 12 years LOL. I am having a bad day my sister Joy, with fibro, gkuhs kicked my tush into bed. Said he'd call me on his breaks to check on me. He's so sweet Joy, I swear you'd love him.
