Hi, Stoneforest, and welcome! Well, I've never heard a story like this before! We don't get boils like that. We do grind our teeth though and I'm glad you have gotten that under control plus what else was happening. I really don't think that was fibro.
Have you changed your job or area you worked. Perhaps you were allergic to something and that caused the boils. That really is confusing to me.
Blood in the stool is something else that isn't caused by fibro. Fibromyalgia affects the muscles, tendons, and ligaments and doctors think now it's a neurological problem in how we perceive pain. If you get blood in your stool again, it could be from the hemorrhoids...especially if the color is red. That means the blood is close to the exit area. If your stool is black, you are bleeding further up in the intestines. THEN you would need to see a gastroenterologist.
I'm so glad you are doing much better. You have really been through a nightmare, haven't you!
Be sure to read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there. Good starting links are called Symptoms, What Else Could It Be, and A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia. All of Fibro 101 is good so do read it.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. I hope to hear more from you soon.
