Hi, I was just going to add my experience with Fascial.
Fascial is connective tissue that exist through out the body. In between and around everything, it is a continuous connection with no breaks from head to toe. The fascia can overlap and even twist.
I was in a car accident a number of years ago. I was fortunate to have a friend who is a chiropractor who specializes in neurology. You heal from the inside out..so after months and months of everything come to the surface, this also appeared. I was telling him about
my arm and the feeling I was getting. It was like a towel that someone was wringing out to dry. Felt like it was twisted back and forth through my whole arm down to my wrist. I was so messed up I wasn't aware that this was already being worked on by him and the massage therapist till I brought it up.
Sounds like you are carrying a lot of tension and stress in the neck and shoulder area now. The effects are traveling down to your upper back and into your jaw. As you have said you are not able to crack your neck. So the muscles it sounds like have tightened up.
A good massage therapist and a reputable chiropractor could help with that.
