Blood test for fibromyalgia

Has anyone seen this yet? If this has already been posted, please let me know. I just ran across it. Saw it on The Lupus Effect FB page.

They are patenting the test, so it must be working in trials.

I was wondering...How many of you would want to be tested once this test becomes part of the diagnostic norm? In blood work testing there are always a subset of individuals who will test sero-negative and can still have the condition. Doctors still need to take a patient's symptoms into consideration or there will be some who will be denied treatment.

I'm glad for the medical break through...I know this will help many.

I personally wouldn't have the blood test. I already know I have fibro. But this could speed up diagnosis for those that haven't gotten a diagnosis. That's half the battle right now...a diagnosis!
