I've often mentioned how I still have Fibro, in spite of the fact that I've knocked it way down, by like 95%, and IBS in complete remission.
Still, I get oddball occasional mis-firing nerve stuff.
So anyway, I really haven't been worried about gaining another 10 or 15 lbs, until Feb, when I start cutting it back off, so my dinners sometimes just get a little ridiculous ! :) LOL
Last nights dinner certainly did ! Eating close to 5K cals a day.
I hammered a 20oz Beef Ribeye steak, with tons of marbling, and literally 1 1/2 qts of fresh green beans, and my normal bowl of oatmeal, with about 1 cup fresh strawberries.
Now, I've been eating a LOT of meals this big, in the last couple months (bulking for Winter) without any problems.
However, I don't eat red meat that often (once every 10-14 days ?) and all of that saturated fat actually managed to upset my stomach this morning.
But wait, some of you might be thinking a 2500 cal dinner, with a 20 oz slab of heavily marbled red meat, would probably mess up "a lot of peoples stomachs", even if they didn't have Fibro/IBS ! :)
Alright... and that could be true..
But here's the whole point of my post > The kinds of stomach issues this one big, fatty meal gave me, were straight up fibro issues !
My whole lower intestines felt inflamed, and my whole groin area + around my thighs, felt hot and feverish !
This ^ is just one of the really screwed up symptoms I use to deal with almost daily !
And I'll be totally honest, it's pretty freaking scary, to go without some of the really bad symptoms (like this one) for so long, then have it pop up again out of nowhere ! I feel like I've suffered enough from that BS !
Needless to say, tonights dinner looked a lot more reasonable (Pork tenderloin and broccoli).... maybe only 2-3 X's most of yall's dinners, and not 6 X's, like last night ! :) LOL
Peace,
Fish
